CDT ES Series Review
ES-620s, ES-600s, and the ES-10SQs |
|
|
Dear Ken and all the CDT gang,
I would first off like to express my complete satisfaction with both your staff and your products. I received first class treatment every time I spoke with someone from CDT. Now, on to the review. I purchased the complete ES line for my vehicle, a 2004 Pontiac GTO. This consisted of the following:
ES-620s, ES-600s, and the ES-10SQs. I also upgraded to the ES-200Z crossover for the 620s, and the new LP-2. This was hooked up to the rear ES-600s. The head unit is a Nakamichi MB-100. Powering everything is a Rockford Fosgate Power series T8004 amp. All I can say is that these speakers are phenominal!
Clarity and imaging is absolutely top notch. Rounding out the bottom are the very quick and sweet sounding ES-10s. I am more than thrilled with this set up. I recently attended a car show where everyone was proudly demoing their systems. One young man in particular was very proud of his. He invited me to sit and have a listen to it. It did sound very good, albeit alittle heavy on the bass, as most so called high end systems seem to emphasize these days.
He then asked me to listen to mine. He sat down in the passenger seat and I fired it up. The stunned look on his face and the initial silence pretty much summed it up. His only words were, "Dude, what kind of speakers are those?"
That sums up my, and everyone who has heard them, evaluation of CDTs EuroSports. Keep up the good work guys.
Sincerely,
Jodi Gentzlinger
